TPS Security Officer Interrupts Attempted Vehicle Theft in Progress

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nashville, TN — A TriStar Protective Services security officer stopped an attempted vehicle theft after suspects shattered the sunroof of an Infiniti. (No video available at this time.)

The suspects fled the scene immediately upon spotting our marked patrol unit—unaware that our officer had already been investigating their suspicious vehicle on-site. The vehicle was followed off the property while attempting to get vehicle information.

This is part of a growing and concerning trend in the city. Just hours before this incident, another Infiniti was targeted in a nearby neighborhood. In that case, the homeowner intervened and was shot. Thankfully, they survived.

TriStar Protective Services continues to work closely with local authorities and property management teams to stay ahead of these patterns and provide immediate response where it counts.

This is why security presence matters—not after the fact, but in the moment.

As always, thanks to Metropolitan Nashville Police Department for their continued efforts in investigating these crimes and protecting the City of Nashville.
